The dimming option from 100% to 30% or 10% is achieved using the Heliport controller.
The lamp housing is made of optical tempered glass, with excellent impact resistance, thermal stability (operating temperature can be 130℃), high transparency (available with light transmission up to 90%), self-UV resistance, aging resistance and flammability classification according to UL94V0.2. The lamp housing is made of liquid-cast aluminum and oxidation-treated, the product features omnicidal, waterproof and corrosion resistance.
To ensure helicopter safety, it is essential that in low visibility conditions white light is emitted in all directions, clearly marking the perimeter of the final approach and take-off area (FATO) and the heliport aiming point.
Recessed heliport lights emit a constant, omnidirectional white light, visible at night or in adverse weather conditions. They ensure precise identification of the landing area and the correct orientation of aircraft during maneuvers. Their operation is managed by the heliport control panel, which allows centralized control of the light intensity.
